Publishing Tool
Our main goal has always been to enable you to publish your ideas, and now it's easier than ever!
Write a post
In the "Publish" tab, discover how simple it is to publish any piece of content.
You can post either a text, a video, a picture, a link, an audio section, a quote or a place: just click on the related button. Then rearrange the sections the way you want, it's just like a puzzle!
You can also create your own photo album: in the image section, upload a group of photos, then choose the cover and the way you want them to be displayed within the post.
So let's see how to use the our slick Publishing Tool, icon by icon.
TEXT
Nothing could be easier! If you want to create a new paragraph, just click on the Text icon and a new section will appear.
As you can see, you can enter and edit your text as you want: bold, italic, link, bullet point, html attributes... organize it as you need. You can also add an image right into your paragraph, by clicking the corresponding icon.
IMAGE
If you want to upload one or more images in your post, click this!
The image section is now active in your post draft, you just have to select one or more files on your PC or online and you're done :) !
QUOTE
Do you want to quote someone? Here we go!
For the Quote section, you just have to write your quotation, the source and the link of the website you found it in. It's easy as 1, 2, 3!
LINK
Would you like to emphasize someone else's article, or maybe promote a website? Use the link module! A great tool for content curation.
Paste the link in the URL field, then choose which thumbnail best represents what you're sharing. You can also choose to display (or hide) a summary of the shared content. It's done!
VIDEO
Is there a video you want to show to the whole world? Enter it here!
Copy/paste the link of the video you want to add to your blog. Your video is ready to be played!
AUDIO
Want to share the music you love? Click on the audio section icon!
Just enter the URL or write some keywords to find what you are looking for. N.B. The Audio section retrieves music from the Deezer db.
FILE
And what if you want to share a file with your readers? Just click on the File icon!
You can now upload a file directly from your desktop (maximum 8MB).
HTML
If you really need a fully flexible solution for publishing a specific content (e.g. a script), the HTML section is what you need!
Be creative ! Colors, stylesz... you can really do whatever you want. And you can also use the WYSIWYG editor to make things easier!
PLACE
if you want to show us a map or add a location, this is the right module.
Show us where a shop, a restaurant or anything else is located. Just enter the location or the address you need, and click on "add location". :D
Settings
Now, you can easily preview or publish your post/page, and even chose the date of publication.
You can also automatically share your posts on Facebook or Twitter, and enable/disable comments for each post.
Using the tags, you are now able to categorize your posts, and organize your blog properly!
TIPS:
A new section will always appear at the bottom of your draft. Simply drag it upwards if you want to rearrange the order of the existing sections.
As you create your post, remember to frequently "save as draft" by clicking the button in the top right corner menu (the orange one).
